An East Coast distributor to the manufacturing and food processing industries, brought us a customer who manufacturers organic popcorn snacks.
The customer had new poppers installed in their facility that could significantly increase production. However, their existing bucket elevators became a bottleneck in their process, as they would not be able to handle the increased capacity. They were also a maintenance headache, with buckets and chains breaking frequently.
The bucket conveyors moved popcorn from seasoning equipment to bagging equipment.
They also needed a solution to move the product from bagging equipment to the packaging/shipping area.
